Yeah...No. I don't want my father present or accountable for my virginity.

And I don't want my son pledging his virginity to me, either. That's weird, man.

    Sure you do.

What I find creepy is parents who don't do their jobs and never instill in their children the desire to stay pure until marriage.

I thought it was creepy for my father to "give me away" at my wedding (but gave in when my mom convinced me how hurt he'd be if I didn't let him). So this sends my creeptastic radar to pinging like crazy.

The strong presence and support of a father in his daughter's life is incredibly important. My father was always supportive and there for me. He treated me like and adult and valued my opinions. But he had nothing to do with my virginity or lack thereof.

How do you know I haven't instilled that in my children?

Pure? I find the word choice alone bizarre.

I don't need a ball and vows to talk to my kids about respecting their bodies and the bodies of the people they choose to be with sexually. That is way over doing it and glamourizing it IMO.

    Cureepy man.

Yeah, because that means the kid will indeed stay "pure" until marriage.

Let's not forget the pure girls that are giving head and hand jobs to every guy that will let them because, hey, that's not sex. :gg
