Stevie Wonder slams climate change skeptics at hurricane telethon

Music legend Stevie Wonder kicked off Tuesday’s widely televised benefit for hurricane victims by slamming climate change skeptics as either blind or unintelligent.

Before launching into a rendition of “Lean on Me,” along with the Houston Gospel Choir, Mr. Wonder praised love in action and called on people to “love and value” the planet.

“We’ve come together today to love on the people that have been devastated by the hurricanes,” he said. “When love goes into action, it preferences no color of skin, no ethnicity, no religious beliefs, no sexual preferences and no political persuasions. It just loves, as we should begin to love and value our planet.

“And anyone who believes that there is no such thing as global warming must be blind or unintelligent. Lord, please save us all,” he said.

Well, we just had two "Hurricane of the Century" level events literally back to back, and the ten hottest years on record have all occurred in the last twenty years. I could list more examples, but why bother? You either see what's happening or you don't.

If people would become vegans that would probably help the most until electric cars become more common.
Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them.

Mother Nature is punishing non-believers for their heresy. If only we had stopped using carbon fuels altogether 20 years ago, none of this would have happened and we'd be delivered from her divine wrath.

Hate to tell you, but, every one saying "I believe" in unison and signing on to every imaginable accord wouldn't have changed a damned thing. The entire planet is not going to radically stop progress. Even the most aggressive plans keep the carbon going for at least 2-3 decades.
