    "SIP - PEEL - WIN!"

I'm sure all of you who purchase Dunkin Donuts coffee are familiar with the game, "SIP-PEEL-WIN". You peel off the label, read the question, and then rub off the little circle in front of what you believe to be the correct answer. If you're successful, you win whatever treat is indicated on that particular label.

Well, I must confess; when I get to work, I simply Google the question and then choose my answer. In other words, I cheat. (Doesn't everybody?)

The other day, a teacher came into the tech office to ask a question and saw me doing just that. She admonished me sternly and said that it was unethical. Is it?

A poll is in the works.

Oops! My option two exceeded the maximum amount of characters allowed. After telling me that, it kicked me out of the poll, and now I can't get back in to complete one. Perhaps I'm being punished.

Sorry Jasmine, I will have to turn you in for fraudulently winning that large ice tea for a dollar. No more donuts for you!

Dublin Donuts just wants you to come in again. I doubt most people are going to look up the answers anyways
Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them.

I just win the treat. I don't have to rub anything off on mine.

I went to DD last April, so I'm pretty sure that by the time I redeemed my card, the game would be over.

In the literal sense, it's an unethical practice. I don't know what range of prizes one could win (I live under a rock), but a free doughnut or cup of coffee to a regular customer isn't going to break a national chain.

Not unethical. It's marketing - DD is not going to take a loss if people Google. Their goal is to get you to return.
