Don't look directly at it without your glasses on!

    Oh wait...that was something else.

I've never seen them either but would love to. Hope you're able to!

Typically you have to kind of wait up pretty late - but I hope for clear skies for you. They are truly magical. I've seen them twice - and here they only are kind of white - we don't seem to get the vibrant colours that the far north gets - but truly gorgeous.

We had a shot this summer when we were camping on Superior but I couldn't stay up late enough . I heard that the park staff stayed up late partying at their area and saw them - but not until around 3 so I'm glad I didn't try

I've been lucky enough to see them several times as I grew up in rural MN. I can't see them where we live now due to light pollution I hope you get to see them!

We see them pretty regularly here, but you have to leave the city.

I've been contemplating going for a bit of a drive tonight, but I have to be up early tomorrow...

Mine too - I have been to Iceland twice and way up north in Finland once, but no dice.

    I hope Mother Nature cooperates!

We lucked out on our Iceland trip and they were some of the best sightings in a long time. it was really magical. DH dropped our camera in the ocean during the night boat tour to see them, so we have no photos, sadly.

Somebody who saw them in Oakville posted pics on Twitter a couple of nights ago!
