The 10 Most Luxurious Dog Boarding (AKA Pet Hotels) in the US

    http://www.elledecor.com/life-cultur...t-dog-boarding

    First on the list...

    D Pet Hotels

Part of a chain that includes locations in Chelsea, Scottsdale, Hollywood and soon Austin, the Los Angeles branch of D Pet Hotels has all the luxury the brand is known for. Pictured here is the Winston Suite, which comes with a la carte menu and 65" flat screen TV. Certain packages involve a Netflix and Chill session - aka munching on sirloin steak with a canine friend - and the bed is outfitted with a memory foam mattress and Ralph Lauren sheets. Pets can be picked up from your home to the hotel in your choice of Ferrari, Lamborghini Gallardo, Bentley, Porsche or Rolls-Royce.
    Okay, then.

Mine is luxurious enough. My cute doggy is on Facebook playing in the hose at daycare. I guess it's all relative...if I made a gazillon dollars it might seem normal...

It is amazing what people will do and spend to pamper their dogs. There is huge money in it.

This place is just down the street from my house, when it first opened I thought it was ridiculous but it's always busy.

Unless you choose the English option. There aren't many businesses in my area that don't cater to both languages.

The prices aren't that much different than my doggy daycare, but it's Canadian dollars, so I guess it is more...

The daycare fees are reasonable but the higher end rooms are steep compared to other boarding facilities. They even offer matching mani/pedi services for you and your pup.

When my sister drove my mom's cats from Florida to Texas a couple of years ago, she made them reservations at fancy cat boarding places each night (well, she stayed at the Motel 6 but the cat places were pretty nice!) We had a good time reading the offerings. Several of them had the movie watching option which I think was more for dogs because I can't picture my cats enjoying tv time with a stranger.
