    "Print media is dead" (Poll)

    Agree, or disagree?

Poll is multiple choice. I forgot to have an option for "None of the above", so consider it an "Other"

Flit around online, from various sources near and far. Haven't bought a real newspaper in years. I get a free one delivered once a week, but that's just for the sale flyers.

The mill in my old hometown made newsprint and folded shop a few years ago when decreased world demand made production unprofitable.

I'll pick up a freebie paper here and there, and will buy a local paper every once in a while (sales circulars, coupons, or a specific article). I subscribe to a magazine or two (one is actually free, but I do read it). Most of the news I read is read online, obviously.

Our local paper here isn't worth the ink they waste to print it. I'm sure the ink is more expensive than the paper on which it is.

I subscribe to several magazines. I hate looking at stuff like that online. I don't care about the newspaper. If I did read it, I would subscribe. I also still read physical books. I just can't stand reading on a device.

We subscribe to the local paper on Sunday only because all of the other news is old news by the time he would receive the paper the rest of the week, so he now gets the rest of his news from online news sources during the week.

I just flit around on the internet myself.

We get the local newspaper but I would consider it more of a newsletter. (I'm pretty sure the editor of the paper would be insulted by that) My mom buys a paper from a local big city and I usually read that. Otherwise I go online.

I like the print versions of the NYT and WSJ a million times better than the online version. So, I pay for that.

And we've gotten National Geographic for about 50 years. Dh would miss it!

Oh, I forgot! I do subscribe to Reader's Digest. I mean, what would I read in the bathroom if I didn't?

I subscribe to several magazines (not all news oriented, I like my Entertainment Weekly and Real Simple along with my New Yorker); we get several national newspapers and a local paper at work which I avail myself of at lunch.

We have two free local weekly newspapers that come in the mail. I get magazines every so often. The rest of my news I get online.

I used to love the Sunday ritual of reading every section of the newspaper, but I can do that online now.
