I'm watching it and liking it, scary as it is.

    Handmaid's Tale

I'm liking the modern touches. Stuff that wasn't in the book, since it was written 30 years ago. The actors are great, except Joseph Fiennes who seems flat. Who knew Alexis Bledel was so good! I know I didn't. She was stellar in this week's episode, totally heartbreaking.

I didn't watch Gilmore Girls, so I had only seen her in a small role on Mad Men. (Incidentally, she's married to Vincent Kartheiser, whose character Pete on Mad Men had a fling with Elisabeth Moss's character Peggy, leading to her pregnancy!)

I believe I shed a tear during that scene. So powerful, with no words at all.

I'm really liking it. The third episode freaked me out, with the flashbacks to how the women's rights were stripped away.

I am liking it. I think the updates to bring it out of the 80's are pretty good as well.

I am watching it slowly. I haven't gotten to the third episode yet. I need time to recover after each one. I think they've done a great job with it.
