    Emmjay!

(And Sam too, but she hasn't been around for a while)

How are houses heated in England? I'm watching Escape to the Country, and they all seem to be heated with radiators (so steam, I guess?). Is that the norm? Do any homes have natural gas or oil furnaces like in Canada or the US?

    thanks!

We have radiators and I am pretty sure most people I know do as well. I find our system completely confusing. We have a big water tank on the top floor, and a smaller boiler on our kitchen wall, and then radiators and pipes everywhere. There are always random gurgling noises going on - I think the radiators get filled with hot water, not steam, because they had to be drained when we got a new boiler. I would love a furnace. And central air. And screens on my windows. Ah memories...
