Chuck Berry, Musician Who Helped Define Rock N Roll, Dies at 90
Chuck Berry, who with his indelible guitar licks, brash self-confidence and memorable songs about cars, girls and wild dance parties did as much as anyone to define rock n rolls potential and attitude in its early years, died on Saturday. He was 90.
He was a hugely talented man. A true pioneer. For me though, he's forever tainted as a "bathroom peeper" for the videotaping of women in the bathroom of his restaurant.
I'm mad at myself for not going to see him perform at Blueberry Hill at least once. It's right in my own backyard and now the opportunity is gone.
