We've got about an inch of snow so I'm guessing we're off to camp this morning - I admit I was expecting a confirmation of this before now. I do want to get this trip over!

    And that's my day.

We're getting socked here. Whiteout conditions and several inches already. My plans for the day include reading and relaxing.

Woke up to my 4th set of triplets this morning! I don't see how I'm going to continue being lucky with no bottle feeding. And I have 5 more ewes to go. My current sheep count is 34 and growing! :faint

My brother and his family have been visiting and we've had the most wonderful time!

I got to spend a lot of time with this cutie!

I just got back from 5 days in sunny Arizona ☀️......I don't think it's even 20 here yet . I've got lots of things to do today. Tomorrow I start watching my granddaughter (one day a week). It's cold & I don't want too 😒
Life may not be the party we hoped for...but while we are here, we might as well dance!

It was worse this morning than yesterday by far. I managed only 40 MPH on the Tri-State, and that was pushing the edge of the envelope. We had to cancel PARCC testing this morning because so many students and staff were either late or absent altogether.

The Lake Effect "Snow Engine" may continue into Wednesday morning.

Snow has started here. School was canceled, to my surprise, but I think it's hitting earlier than originally predicted. We weren't supposed to see snow until noon, but we probably have 1-2 inches now. The local university even closed for both today and tomorrow, which is almost unheard of. DH is hoping it clears out early enough that he and the kids could go skiing tomorrow. They are now saying 18-24 inches total for our area. We haven't had a storm that big in years.

I went to the grocery store last night for all of the required ingredients for french toast (eggs, bread, milk) and a box of brownie mix, so I think we're set to be comfortable for the duration if we don't lose power. I teased DH that it would be fun to set up the tent in the yard and spend the night outside. I wish we could go join RC!

And I bought two more shovels so we can put these kids to work. ;)
