We have about 10-12 inches of snow and it is still coming down. We have a little lake effect band coming through. I am glad I don't live on the east side of the lake where the lake effect snows are so much worse.

Dh is on call tonight. I hope he doesn't get called out since he'll have to dig his way out on the way!

Maybe you'll be lucky and it will turn green!

We only got 4-6 inches, 6 being very generous. Hope it stops soon for you!

Went to a different doctor today. The rash the girls had didn't look at all like HFM. And I was right. K has Fifths disease. M has something called HSP. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purpura
Maeve needs to have her urine tested for 2 years. Her legs don't look as bad as the ones there... it's like a rash of bruises.

One of my DDs had HSP as a baby right after Christmas. The on call pedi thought we might be hitting her to cause the bruising, since we DH and I had preemie infant twins and a stomach bug at holiday time. He was very respectful about it, but made me wait while he tracked down our regular pedi and consulted about our family dynamic and support. I'll never forget it.

My DD recovered quickly without complications. Hope yours does too.

He has my sympathy! Dd and I caught that years ago. She had a mild rash, fever, and felt a little funky. I had a much more miserable time. Besides a rash, my leg and hip joints were all so painful that I couldn't work because I couldn't sit. My hands were so bad that I couldn't do up my pants or write or type. It was brutal. Hopefully he's not as affected.

Oops! sorry, misunderstood. Not that it's good that your little one is sick, but at least that's not as bad in kids. Hope everyone is feeling better soon!
