This may be the best way to do the DST changeover - we lost an hour yesterday driving east, and slept in a strange place with no alarm - it doesn't seem like any time in particular, just a sunny cold morning.

Anyway, we'll be home in the early afternoon. I'm going to do the laundry and maybe make a quiche.

    I hate it.

Chilly and sunny today. I just sold a piece of furniture for $800!! Having some friends over for a carb loaded dinner (baked ziti w/italian sausage, garlic bread, salad, wine) so I need to run out to the store in a bit to pick up last minute stuff.

I woke up at 8:45 only to realize it was 9:45. I hate DST. I need to get laundry going and do some cleaning. I also want to do meal prep for the week. Hoping I get my steps in today. Yesterday was a down day for sure.

We are expecting 6-8 inches of snow starting this evening. I'm neither surprised nor amused.

    DST after a party sucks..

Getting floors/carpet redone next week in our bedroom, my office and the hallway. (Long overdue.) So, today is moving everything out of the rooms for a few days.

Yes. We didn't party last night, but did stay out late babysitting for friends. They hardly ever get time out alone together, so we're happy to do it, but dang the timing was poor.

We're only getting 4-6 and I'm completely annoyed. I hate the wet yucky part of spring the most so I was hoping we were past it.

Completely over this last minute winter. Looking at a foot or more on Tuesday, and it is still insanely cold today.

It's making me horribly grumpy, I pretty much hate everyone right now. Usual Sunday here, but I am skipping church. Too tired and grumpy to socialize.

Kiddo has rehearsal later. Thinking of trying the new italian place in town with my sister later, if I lose my bad attitude I have heard very good things about their risotto. That and a nice glass of wine sounds perfect, for getting me out of this wicked slump.
