    It's just the way it is in my house . There are only a few shows like this - and TBH we've never put it to the test. I haven't watched one without him the so anger is only surmised at this point .

    This whole thing is weird to me. Is this really cheating to some people?

    I have my shows, he has his, and we have some together. If he watches one of "ours" it's because I have fallen asleep or he's out of his shoes, in which case he can either watch it again with me, or not. There's no expectation that we only watch "our " shows while glued at the hip.

    It's about if you start the series together. Tom and I started Breaking Bad together and he watched ahead. I was annoyed. Lol

    If it's a series we started on our own then it's fair game.

    I don't think it's "cheating" . I think this was a light-hearted article about couple's viewing habits.

    TV is something we do together - and individually. I'm not going to divorce him if he watches ahead in The Wire without me - but he wouldn't. He would just start a new show on his own .
