    Thanksgiving Dinner

    What are you making?

Christopher Kimball's new Milk Street Kitchen has a Thanksgiving menu on its website. http://recipes.177milkstreet.com/rethink-thanksgiving

I may do that, or I'm thinking of smoking a turkey and making sides that pair well with barbecue. Either way, I suppose I should decide soon.

If anyone is looking for a vegetarian main dish, The Kitchn just posted a nut loaf with mushroom sauce: http://www.thekitchn.com/recipe-savo...m-sauce-237790

Turkey, gravy, my corn bread stuffing baked in a bundt pan, mashed potatoes in the crockpot, squash, broccoli, potato rolls, and roasted shallots in white wine. Lots of booze, ;) and someone else is in charge of dessert.

I'm doing the turkey, potatoes, stuffing, and cranberries. I'll make some hummus and chips for appetizers. My SIL is bringing pies. My BIL is doing a green salad. Niece is bringing a few things (not sure what yet) unless she goes into labor, and then the whole party will be at the hospital.

There will be plenty of wine for those that can.

    I'm not very organized yet.

    And gravy!

I'm making what ever my mom tells me to bring but she's doing most of the cooking. I can't wait! I love Thanksgiving food.

I am going to a buffet with two friends! Dh will be working in Tx/NM and my nephew and sister will drive down to Atlanta to be with my brother and his in laws. Christmas is going to be the same, I think.

I'm working Thanksgiving so we had ours on Sunday, just the four of us. We decided on Thanksgiving we will grill some steaks and switch things up. No one seems very motivated to cook a turkey at work and I am ok with that because it's a lot of work. Maybe I will bring in breakfast for the crew.

We will be having Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws in St. Louis on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, as per tradition. I will contribute pumpkin pie, cranberry-orange relish, and some of my dressing (as my daughter and I don't really care for MIL's stuffing).

My mom is hosting and doing most of the cooking. I've been tasked with pies.
