Reminds me when I used to be a government contractor doing desktop support. People kept everything on their desktops, no folders.... The screen would lag trying to render all the icons.
Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them.

Replace Amy's mom with my DH and email with Facebook and you have my life. Every. Damn. Day.

Poor Amy. I thought it would be awesome for my mom to get a smartphone. It's not. "Why does it ding all the time? It dings but it isn't doing anything." Um...your getting a text. Oh yeah. Every week I go over there and refix something that she messed up only to find out that my brother had been there the night before to fix it and she somehow messed it up again.

Mom: You didn't send me that picture I wanted.
Me: I texted it to you.
Mom: You can text a photo?
Me: (Thinking: As I explained to you 1000x,) Yes, you can. Just check your texts.
    Mom: Which app is that?
Me: (Thinking: As I explained to you 5000x,) The green bubble.
Mom: Okay. There's lots with blue dots next to them.
Me: (Thinking: As I explained to you 5000x,) The dot is an unread message. Look for the one with my name.
    Mom: Oh! Nice photo!

I remember trying to fix my wife's grandfather's computer. I would open Internet Explorer and there would be a 6 inch window between the dozen or so toolbars that got installed by drive by malware.

Tell me. When TapToTalk (the product, not me) was still around, I did a lot of remote support help and training sessions.

    - "Do you use all those toolbars?"
    - "I don't even know how they got there."
    - "They interfere with how many web site works, including ours."

Lots of them weren't malware, just added by some big company who was promoting their content. They still screwed up everything.
