Yeah people did and then stood there in the aisle. The scenes were worth it. Marvel Studios is going full 80's camp with the outer space stuff from the comic books of that era.
Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them.

Susannah and I saw it last night, it was fun. I always fall asleep during the battle scenes though. It was a seven o'clock show, plus my brain had to keep up with IMAX 3D. And Timmy's been teething at night so I'm sleepy anyway.

Drax is just the best. "Look at HIM, he's so embarrassed!"

I liked it! The credits were great.

We went today. I LOVED it.
I was sitting between my husband and almost 14 year old son, who were both elbowing me during the previews, to tell the other they really wanted to see that movie. (Spiderman Homecoming, Pirates OTC and the next Star Wars).
My husband and I laughed way too hard at the teenage groot in the credits, hit close to home. LOL

    I didn't get a Spiderman trailer!

(I did get a Thor: Ragnarok, though, so it's OK. Cate Blanchett looks awesome in that.)

I haven't seen it yet, but I did see a Thor: Ragnorak trailer, and that looks fantastic. Also, I have an abiding love for Taika Waititi.
