Posting your adult child's honeymoon pics..

    You are 65.
Your adult child gets married and goes on a honeymoon.
Your adult child posts a couple of pictures on fb while away.
You post an album "Child and Childs spouse honeymoon" on fb with many many photos that were texted to you during the trip.

    Is that wierd

No, I just assume they're happy for their child and proud of the wonderful time they're having.

Yeah, I think it's a little weird and oversharing. I wouldn't share photos that had been sent to me personally.

Also, really? You're on your honeymoon and you're texting photos to your mom? What's that about?

The mom is the bff. The best man's speech included the line "Your spouse is usually your best friend but we all know that job is taken by mom".

The mom also posts pictures often what the daughter is wearing that day. The daughter texts the pics to mom and the mom posts them on instagram or fb.

If this is common behavior for mom, then the daughter had to know it was going to happen. If she doesn't like it and mom refuses to stop, she should stop sharing photos. If she's okay with it, then there's no issue.

I probably wouldn't share something like this without permission, but it seems like that's not how the family rolls.

I think the daughter is old enough to have her own FB and Instagram account.

This is sounding weird enough that I feel sorry for the new husband.

Warning Warning, somebody needs attention. Red Alert
Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them.

Sounds like mom doesn't have much going on in her own life. And daughter never cut the apron strings. At least the new husband seems to understand where he fits in.

Not my style even a little bit, but if they like it then more power to them. Weird enough to me that I wouldn't be FB friends with them, though.
