I won't have a teal pumpkin. I don't even have an orange pumpkin this year. But i do have Halloween erasers and toys, and I am printing up a teal pumpkin flyer so parents know we (my small clue de sac combines forces because Halloween on bas wis insane) have non-candy treats if they ask. But everyone is getting candy unless they ask for the other stuff.

That's pathetic, it really is. First of all, no parent in his or her right mind is going to send their food allergic kid out to collect eatables of which the source and content is in question. If they do, "Stupidity is its own reward."

Secondly, I'm tired of the vast majority having to suffer or be handicapped in order to accommodate a minority that can avoid the problem themselves with just a modicum of intelligent decision making.

I declare a "Trash Teal Pumpkins Halloween Initiative".

I blame all the illegal immigrants and food preservatives
Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don't recognize them.

Never get any trick or treaters here, even with several kids living on this block. It is a dead end street with a cemetery, so maybe that is why? Anyway...

We're getting away with it all messed up

What the ever loving fuck are you talking about? And you are a teacher? These kids are excluded from so much in their lives. A little kindness goes a long way.

What I find pathetic is not an attempt to make a kid feel normal for a little bit of their lives but your constant need to try and look like a badass. No one is impressed. You are a teacher. Stop being so fucking callous.

I'd also pair up my decision making and parenting skills to yours any day. Fuck right off.
