Mine does some bizarre stuff, other times she is completely fine - smart, witty, super thoughtful & kind. I try to enjoy her when she's good and disappear when she's not. Now that I've been around a while, I'm kind of aware of what her triggers are and that helps. But I really have no idea how a therapist would categorize her. Some narcissism fits, but not nearly as closely as my dad.

His dad and my mom are both amazing, thank god.

LB my mother was the same. I just learned to stay away from triggers....and her when she got too whacked

I'm almost embarrassed how relieved I am now that she's gone. Not that I haven't had a few teary days. But mostly...I'm really pretty good.

I could almost feel guilty. But I don't

No need. Guilt is a wasted emotion.
