    I bought the Nancy Tillman book because it made me cry in my 3rd trimester. .. I couldn't read it without crying until she was over a month old. I can recite most of it from memory now. :)

    I know DD loves reading the Sandra Boynton books to Audrey. Also there's a tickle book -can't remember the name but it has a puppet with it, I believe.

    That book by Robert Munsch - Love you forever or something - it's a real tearjerker. I'm not sure if it's popular now or not.
    I can't think of anything witty to say for my signature line.

    Oh, it's popular. But people seem (based on a recent thread on another board I visit) fairly evenly divided on whether it's a wonderful book or creepy as all get out. I'm in the latter camp.

    My husband agrees with you, I thought it was sweet at first but he said it would have given him nightmares as a child.
